FREEZE-DRIED RAMBUTAN – WHOLE PEELED FRUIT FOR SNACKS AND FOOD APPLICATIONS
Freeze-Dried Rambutan is made from freshly peeled Vietnamese rambutan and processed using freeze-drying technology. Each whole fruit retains its round form, creamy-white appearance and characteristic tropical aroma in a lightweight, crisp format. With a shelf life of 18 months when stored below 25°C, the product is suitable for snacks, cereals, smoothies, bakery, confectionery and other food applications.
1. Freeze-Dried Rambutan From Vietnam
Tam Ngoc sources rambutan from Ben Tre and Tien Giang, two fruit-growing areas in Vietnams Mekong Delta. The fruit is harvested between June and August before being transported to Tam Ngocs 50,000-square-meter facility in Can Tho.
At the processing facility, the rambutans undergo sorting, peeling and cleaning before freeze drying. The freeze-drying process removes moisture through sublimation under controlled conditions, creating a lightweight dried fruit format while maintaining the fruits characteristic structure, color and aroma.
The product is processed from whole peeled rambutan, allowing the original round fruit shape to remain visible after processing. Its crisp, porous structure also allows the fruit to rehydrate when exposed to moisture.
