GLUTINOUS RICE - “NEP CAI HOA VANG”
Nep Cai Hoa Vang is a premium white glutinous rice variety, well-known in northern provinces of Vietnam. Its grains are large, round, and plump, with a glossy appearance and firm texture. When cooked, the grains become soft, moist, elastic, and pleasantly sticky - neither dry nor overly mushy.
This glutinous rice is refined, polished, and has its bran and germ removed. While this enhances its cooking quality, shelf life, and flavor, it significantly reduces its nutritional value. Nep Cai Hoa Vang still contains fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making it a better choice for people with diabetes. It also provides B vitamins and heart-supporting compounds such as antioxidants, lignans, and dietary fiber.

Processing and Preservation Process
- After being received, the raw materials are transported to Phu Minh Tam’s factory and preserved using a modern fumigation system before entering the closed production and packaging process. High-quality glutinous rice grains are ed, weighed, packed, and labeled before being released to the market. The entire process is strictly monitored from input to finished product to ensure the product retains its natural flavor, is safe for health, and meets quality standards before reaching consumers.
Usage and Storage Instructions
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
Usage: Rinse the glutinous rice 2-3 times, add water at an appropriate ratio, and cook. Once cooked, gently fluff before using. Suitable for making sticky rice, various glutinous rice cakes, fermented soybean paste, or for alcohol fermentation.
