Hyacinth Beans, scientifically known as Lablab purpureus, are a legume species widely cultivated in tropical countries for food, especially in Africa, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Hyacinth Beans are highly nutritious, containing sugars such as sucrose, glucose, stachyose, maltose, and raffinose. They are also rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, C, and minerals including calcium, phosphorus, and iron. Beans meeting quality standards are weighed, packed, and labeled before entering the market. The entire process is strictly monitored from raw material to finished product to ensure the beans retain their natural flavor, are safe for health, and meet quality standards before reaching consumers.
Storage: Keep in a dry, cool, and ventilated place, away from direct sunlight.
Usage: Soak in water for 6 - 8 hours until the beans swell evenly, wash thoroughly, and use for cooking sweet soup, sticky rice, or preparing dishes like Hyacinth Bean milk, nutritional powder, fermented bean paste, and tofu from white Hyacinth Beans.
