Varietal origin: Jasmine rice was introduced to Vietnam in 1992 and is now widely cultivated in the Mekong Delta region. It was originally developed by the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI).
Characteristics: Jasmine rice is celebrated for its fragrant aroma and sticky texture. It has a short growth period, offers a high yield, and provides excellent value. When cooked, it releases a subtle, delicate fragrance.

Features: The grains are long, large, translucent, and firm.
After cooking: The rice becomes sticky, soft, and lightly aromatic.
