Practical application

➦ Used in the production of soft drinks, confectionery, fish sauce, chili sauce, helping to prolong the shelf life and keep the color stable.

➦ Use for dairy products, vegetables, fruits, etc

➦ Sorbic acid and its salts have been used as Clostridium botulinum inhibitors in meat products to replace the use of nitrites.

➦ Sorbic acid is used as a preservative in vegetarian foods.

➦ Sorbic acid can effectively inhibit the activity of mold, yeast and Aerophile bacteria.

➦ Sorbic acid is used for fruit and vegetable products, cakes, fish, food made from crabs and shrimps.

➦ Fresh chicken dipped in sorbic acid solution can increase shelf life.
