⇒ Registration Instructions
1. Required information and documents
- Full name and address of trademark owner
- 1 trademark sample file or 10 trademark samples, the size is not more than 8cm and the components in the mark are not larger than 8cm and not less than 0.8cm
- List of goods/services with registered trademarks
- Power of Attorney of the applicant (According to form)
2. Duration
- According to the regulations of the Intellectual Property Law, the trademark registration application is evaluated by the NOIP and makes a conclusion on the grant of a protective certificate within 12 months from the date of application. In which, the time limit for formal examination is 01 month, the application is published within 02 months from the date of acceptance of the valid application, and the time limit for substantive examination is 9 months from the date of publication of the application.
3. Validity of certificate of trademark registration
- A certificate of trademark registration is valid for 10 years from the date of application and can be renewed multiple times, for 10 years each time.
4. Fees
- Trademark registration fee depends on the number of product and service groups in an application and the number of detailed products and services in each group. The cost will be calculated specifically for each application based on the actual trademark and the area the applicant wants to register for protection
