Product Description:
Clear-Glo #3 is a premium clear acrylic surface sealer specifically designed to complement the Plexipave Color Finish System. This sealer offers a light sheen finish, enhancing the longevity of the Plexipave System and playing lines, particularly in areas prone to dust accumulation and wear. Additionally, Clear-Glo #3 can partially replace water in mixing Plexipave or Fortified Plexipave for indoor tennis courts only.
Surface Applications:
Clear-Glo #3 is ideal for use over the Plexipave System in high-traffic areas, such as:
- Walkways
- Playgrounds
- Public basketball courts
Application Guidelines
- Dilution: Mix Clear-Glo #3 with an equal amount of water (1:1). Stir well before use.
- Coating:
+ Standard Areas: Apply one coat for most surfaces.
+ High-Wear Areas: Apply two coats to ensure durability.
- Application Tools:
+ Use a squeegee followed by a wide hair-type push broom for large surfaces.
+ For smaller areas, use a brush or lamb’s wool applicator.
- Indoor Courts: When used with Plexipave or Fortified Plexipave, replace only part of the water in the mix with Clear-Glo #3.
Drying Time: Each coat dries within approximatelyف hour.
Color and Coverage:
- Finish: Clear with a light sheen.
- Coverage: 40 square yards per gallon per coat (approximately 0.025 gallons per square yard).
Usage Limitations:
- Environmental Conditions:
+ Apply only when ambient temperatures are above 50°F and rising.
+ Avoid applying when surface temperatures exceed 140°F or when rain is expected.
- Application Tips:
+ Do not allow the product to puddle apply evenly and lightly.
+ Stir before use do not shake.
+ Keep the surface clean and free from dust before application.
- Storage:
+ Avoid freezing or exposure to direct sunlight.
+ Seal the container tightly when not in use.
- Special Precautions:
+ Do not apply on wood surfaces.
+ Avoid using in Plexipave mixes for heavily trafficked areas instead, apply as a topcoat.
Additional Notes: While Clear-Glo #3 enhances surface durability and provides a sleek finish, it cannot prevent surface or structural cracks from reoccurring. For best results, follow the guidelines carefully to maximize product performance.
