PD CTC BLACK TEA – FAST-BREWING TEA FOR TEA BAGS
PD CTC Black Tea, also known as Pekoe Dust, is the smallest grade in the CTC range. Its fine, firm granules brew rapidly into a ruby-red cup with strong body and a malty taste. The grade is suitable for tea bags, milk tea, chai and instant tea applications.
1. PD CTC Black Tea For Fast-Brewing Tea Applications
PD CTC Black Tea is produced through the Crush, Tear, Curl process, which turns tea leaves into small, firm granules. With a granule size of approximately 0.5–1 mm, PD is the finest grade among the four CTC grades.
The small granules provide a large leaf surface in contact with water, allowing PD to brew quickly and produce strong color and flavor. The dry tea has a black to dark brown appearance, while the brewed liquor develops a ruby-red color.
PD can be served plain or with milk and sugar. Its fast extraction makes it particularly suitable for tea products that require strong color and flavor within a short brewing time.

2. PD CTC Black Tea Characteristics And Cup Profile
The dry tea consists of fine, firm granules ranging from black to dark brown. The brewed cup has a fresh, energizing aroma and a strong, malty profile.

CTC grades are mainly supplied to South Asia and the Middle East, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq and the UAE, where strong tea is commonly prepared with milk and sugar.

4. PD CTC Black Tea Specifications And Export Supply
PD CTC Black Tea is produced at the companys own factories in Phu Tho and Yen Bai, Vietnam. The Yen Bai factory holds ISO 22000:2018 certification, Certificate No. 31905-FSV from Vinacontrol.
A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is supplied with each lot. SGS or Dai Viet Control inspection and pesticide or heavy-metal reports can be arranged per shipment upon request.
Export documents include invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and certificate of analysis.
5. PD CTC Black Tea Packing And Private Label Supply
PD CTC Black Tea is available in PP/PE bags, kraft paper sacks, export cartons and vacuum aluminium bags.
Standard net weight ranges from 20–80 kg per bag, depending on the packing type and grade. A 40HC container loads approximately 26 tons, while a 20ft container loads approximately 13 tons with standard bulk packing.
Private-label options include custom-printed bulk bags, private-brand tea bags and retail packs such as boxes, zip bags, aluminium bags and tins.
The minimum order is one 40-foot high cube container. The approved pre-shipment sample serves as the order reference.
