HOW TO DISSOLVE TEA POWDER FOR A SMOOTH, AROMATIC TEA BASE
Sift the tea powder:
- Although finely ground, tea powder easily absorbs moisture and may clump. Sifting before dissolving helps loosen the powder, prevent clumping, and reduce sediment.
- Dissolve with 35–50ml of warm water using tools such as a bamboo whisk (Chasen) or a handheld frother to evenly disperse the powder, create fine foam on the surface, and deliver a rich flavor.
The ideal water temperature for dissolving tea powder is 60–80°C, which helps release layered aromas while preserving the green color of the tea powder, ensuring optimal tea quality and easier dissolution.
Water that is too cool makes dissolution difficult and prevents full aroma extraction. Water that is too hot may cause color loss and negatively affect flavor and nutrients.
STORAGE
- Store in a dry, cool place. Avoid direct sunlight and high temperatures.
- Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture
Notes for Best Quality After Opening
