✿ Hot stamping is a forming process where the workpiece is heated to near melting temperatures before being stamped. The advantage of hot stamping is the production of high-quality products with excellent precision and smooth surface finishes. Today, hot stamping is carried out using specialized machines. Due to its simple process and fewer steps, hot stamping allows for cost-effective production, which is one of its key advantages.

 

✿ However, hot stamping also has limitations. It is best suited for small products with simple shapes, has lower productivity, and is not suitable for materials with high hardness.

 

 

 

✬ Creating the Blank: For simple products, the weight of the product is calculated, and the blank is cut to a rough shape. After a test stamping, adjustments are made to the blank size if necessary. For more complex shapes, a mold must be made to create the blank before hot stamping.

 

✬ Stamping to Form the Product: Before stamping, the blank is heated to the required temperature (depending on the material). The blank is then placed into the mold, and the stamping machine begins its stamping cycle.

 

✬ Deburring: After stamping, the product will have burrs (excess material along the molds separation line). A deburring mold is used to remove these burrs. After deburring, the product can be polished or coated depending on the specific requirements.
