1. The used paper category suitable for offset printing:

♦✯➤ Bristol:

• Bristol paper is a type of paper with 2 sides coated white. In particular, one side is smoother and smoother than Ivory, the other is rough. When torn between layers, the inner core is white, not yellow like Ivory paper.
• This paper consists of many thin layers pressed together under pressure so it is quite hard and thick. This is also the reason why they are often used as product boxes.
• Besides, thin Bristol printing paper is often used to print catalogs, envelopes, documents, product advertising leaflets, store business cards, food menus, calendars, wedding invitations or printing packaging and product boxes because this high-quality paper having white, light hue brings sharp, and durable visual effects and ink.
• If you want to save costs and have make consistent color printing with excellent quality, you should prioritize using bristol paper with Offset printing technology. In particular, the larger the quantity of prints, the cheaper the price.

♦✯➤ Ivory Paper:

• The paper has almost the same texture as Bristol paper but the other side of the paper is rough
• Ivory paper is used to print packaging, bags, cigarette boxes, pharmacy boxes, cosmetic boxes, pharmaceutical boxes, perfume boxes, cake boxes, fast food boxes, tea and coffee boxes, notebook & book covers, folder, and so on. The weight of this paper is about 210 - 350 gsm.
• GSM paper quantity is the English abbreviation "Grams per Square Meter" meaning grams per square meter. The higher the gsm number of the paper, the heavier it is, meaning the thick of paper depends on the GSM quantity.
• In addition, there is a thicker and harder type of Ivory paper called Ivory Kraftm, and it has one smooth coated side while the other side is rough and hard like Kraft paper.

• Couche paper is white, the surface is coated with kaolin tape (or some similar special material), so the paper surface is very flat, glossy and smooth.
• Couche paper prices range from 45,000 VND - 60,000 VND/sheet (about 50 sheets) and the more you buy, the lower the price. Therefore, companies should consider ordering large quantities to reduce printing costs.
• Images printed on Couche paper are beautiful, sharp, and bright in color. Therefore, if a business needs to print business cards, book covers, menus, magazines or advertising leaflets that require high aesthetics, elegance and politeness, this is the right type of paper.
• Currently, you can easily buy Ivory paper at many addresses, directly or online. Paper prices range from 30,000 VND - over 200,000 VND/sheet depending on paper size, paper type and quantity.
