1. THE DEFINITION OF INDUSTRIAL SOLID WASTE (IT-Waste):

❖ Industrial solid waste (IT solid waste), or industrial waste/garbage for short, is waste disposed by business activities through production process, and they are not belonging to the group of household waste or hazardous waste.

❖ Industrial waste is an inevitable part of production activities, especially processing activities in the garment, leather shoe, backpack, handbag, etc., and some other industries.

❖ Industrial waste is divided into 2 groups: Scrap (capable of reuse and recycling) and group that cannot be reused or recycled ( remaining waste).

2. LEGAL BASIS FOR INDUSTRIAL WASTE MANAGEMENT:

• Law No. 72/2020/QH14 of the National Assembly: Law on Environmental Protection
• Decree No. 08/2022/ND-CP of the Government: detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection
• Circular No. 02/2022/TT-BTNMT of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment: Detailing a number of articles of the Law on Environmental Protection
