FILM FACED PLYWOOD
Like other industrial plywood, film-coated formwork comprises layers of wood linked together by glue and subjected to high temperature and pressure to create products.
Its difference is that the outermost surface is covered with a waterproof film, limiting scratches and increasing gloss as well as aesthetics and longevity for the product. In addition, the manufacturers of formwork plywood often use “phenolic” glue as the bonding material. Many film-coated plywood manufacturers in Vietnam call this type of board “phenolic coated plywood.” However, factories in Vietnam often have many types depending on the price and requirements of customers. Therefore, when buying film-coated plywood in Vietnam, you should carefully exchange information about glue, core materials, and the production process and ask to send product samples to check the quality before negotiating product price.
The production of film-coated formwork is expanding due to the significant increase in demand for film-coated plywood in construction. Film-coated formwork is always widely used. Because of the diverse designs, reasonable prices of wooden boards, and high durability, it is suitable for many projects.
