2. Classification of American hardwoods and American oak
• American oak FAS, 1C, 2C, 3C are the standard grades of American oak (the grade of dried lumber is classified according to NHLA standards - National Hardwood Association of America).
• The FAS (short for “First And Seconds” - “First and Second Class”) provides the user with a quality wood that is optimal for the manufacture of high-end furniture, furniture and demanding interior applications. Ask a large percentage of good, long-cut wood sections.
• Type 1C (No. 1 common type) and type 2C (No. 2 common type) are suitable for the kitchen cabinet industry, interior parts and floor coverings.
