PAPER WASTEWATER TREATMENT

1. General description
- With the waste water components with a high cellulose content, it is necessary to have a detailed wastewater treatment process to treat it well.
- To produce 1 ton of pulp we have to discharge 2 to 3 tons of waste into the environment and 200 to 500 m3 of wastewater.

2. Wastewater treatment process

- Separating garbage and sand from the common sewer system by a fixed and mechanical system of trash racks
- Mechanical treatment

- Biological treatment
- Ensure criteria are specified in the standard before discharging wastewater into receiving sources outside the environment

3. Attention

- A garbage filter with a size of about 1 m can remove impurities

- Using DAF brings high efficiency while saving investment costs

- The previous MBBR tank facilitated the Aerotank tank to operate very well and the efficiency at Aerotank would be better than usual and achieve an efficiency of about 75-80% COD

- The filter tank is used to reuse the water source for the production process, the rest will be sterilized and discharged to the receiving source
