Automotive Wheel Bearing & Chassis Grease
Multipurpose EP grease contains highly refined mineral base oils, lithium thickener, extreme pressure (EP) additives and rust and oxidation inhibitors. Suitable as multipurpose automotive grease for general purpose applications.

Shell Gadus S2 V220 offer the excellent performance expected of the worlds leading brand of grease.
They are premier quality, multipurpose, extreme-pressure industrial greases based on a blend of high viscosity index mineral oils and a lithium hydroxystreate soap thickener and contain lead free extreme-pressure and other proven additives. Shell Gadus S2 V220 are designed for the grease lubrication of rolling element and plain bearings such as those found in the steel, paper, mining, quarrying and construction industries.

Steel mill lubrication where a softer grease is necessary for specialised dispensing systems.
Heavy duty plain and rolling element bearings operating under severe conditions including shock loading in wet environments
Gearbox applications where semi-fluid greases are required
+ Shell Gadus S2 V220 1 is designed for:
Heavy duty bearings served by centralised dispensing equipment
Extreme-pressure gear grease for applications at normal ambient temperature

Operation over the temperature range -20°C to 100°C for bearings operating at 75% of the maximum rated speed (Can withstand up to 120°C intermittently)

Shell Gadus S2 V220 contain special extreme-pressure additives which enable them to withstand heavy and shock loads without failure of the lubricant film.
+ Excellent resistance to water wash-out
Shell Gadus S2 V220 have been formulated to offer much improved levels of resistance to water wash-out compared to the old leaded product.
+ Oxidation stability
Specially ed base oil components have excellent oxidation resistance.
Their consistency will not alter in storage and they withstand high operating temperatures without hardening or forming bearing deposits
+ Excellent corrosion protection
Shell Gadus S2 V220 have a strong affinity with metal and have the ability to protect bearing surfaces against corrosion, even when the grease is contaminated with water.
- Re-greasing Intervals
For bearings operating near their maximum recommended temperatures, re-greasing intervals should be reviewed
- Health & Safety
Shell Gadus S2 V220 are unlikely to present any significant health or safety hazard when properly used in the recommended application, and good standards of industrial and personal hygiene are maintained.
3. MOBIL
* Mobilgrease XHP 222
- Product desciption
Mobilgrease XHP™ 220 greases are extended service lithium complex greases intended for a wide variety of applications and severe operating conditions. These greases were designed to outperform conventional products by applying cutting edge, proprietary, lithium complex manufacturing technology. They are formulated to provide excellent high temperature performance with superb adhesion, structural stability and resistance to water contamination. These greases have a high level of chemical stability and offer excellent protection against rust and corrosion. These greases feature high ping points and maximum recommended operating temperature of 140º C (284°F). Mobilgrease XHP 220 greases are available in NLGI grades 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3 with an ISO VG 220 base oil viscosity.
Mobilgrease XHP 220 greases are designed for a wide range of applications including the industrial, automotive, construction and marine sectors. Their performance features make them ideal choices for operating conditions including high temperature, water contamination, shock loading and extended re-lubrication operations. Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special is an extreme pressure grease fortified with 0.75% molybdenum disulfide that provides protection from wear under conditions pivoting and other conditions that lead to loss of oil film.
- Application
+ Mobilgrease XHP 222 is recommended by ExxonMobil for industrial and marine applications, chassis components and farm equipment. Its sticky formulation stays in applications longer.
+ Mobilgrease XHP 222 Special contains 0.75% molybdenum disulfide, is grey in color and is recommended by ExxonMobil for moderate duty service in industrial applications, chassis components and farm equipment. It also finds application in king pins, U-joints, fifth wheels and bucket pins.
