• Medical disinfection: Used to sterilize bacteria on medical equipment, instruments, and supplies.

• Waste treatment: Hydrogen peroxide can oxidize sulfur, helping to treat and reduce odors in wastewater systems.

• Paper and pulp bleaching: Its strong bleaching properties remove pigments, stains, and bacteria.

• Production of sodium percarbonate (detergent raw material): Hydrogen peroxide is used to produce organic peroxide compounds such as dibenzoyl peroxide. It is also used to manufacture mild cleaning agents like sodium percarbonate and sodium perborate, which are applied in laundry detergents.
