1. What’s a Magnetic Pulley Separator?

Magnetic Pulley Separator is a magnetic separation device installed at the head or tail of a conveyor belt.

2. Operating Principle

Inside the pulley is a powerful permanent magnet that attracts and holds ferrous contaminants mixed in the material flow. As the conveyor rotates, the iron particles are captured on the pulley surface and then released at the end of the rotation, separating them from the clean material.

3. Applications

Mostly used in various industries like minerals applications such as abrasive, refractory and ceramic raw material beneficiation, alumina, silica, carbide, magnesite, quartzite,... Also, our magnetic pulley are also used for food processing industries which can remove mud balls from wheat, rice, sesame, semolina, cumin, fennel, chilly flakes and many other food products.

Magnetic Pulley Separator 2 layers is a double-layer magnetic pulley, in which the magnetic system is arranged in two stages to enhance magnetic strength and separation efficiency. With this design, the device can more effectively remove fine or deeply embedded iron particles, ensuring higher product purity. 

This two-layer type is suitable for high-capacity production lines, applications requiring precise iron separation, or environments containing a large amount of fine ferrous contamination.

Magnetic Pulley Separator (3 layers) is a triple-layer magnetic pulley designed with three layers of powerful permanent magnets, optimally arranged to enhance the capture and retention of ultra-fine iron particles.
