GS5A Monitoring Device

Model: GS5A is a device used to monitor and alert temperature fluctuations in cold storage facilities when temperature exceeds preset thresholds or in case of power outages.

I. Functions

• Programmed for web-based temperature monitoring, connected to one temperature sensor placed inside the storage facility.

• Transmits temperature data to the server via Wi-Fi. Sends SMS notifications to predefined phone numbers when the actual temperature exceeds preset limits (either lower or higher than permissible). The device sends SMS alerts to 1 to 5 configured phone numbers and simultaneously triggers a relay to activate the alarm siren.

• Upon loss of main power supply (grid power), the embedded SIM module will send SMS alerts to up to 5 preconfigured phone numbers.

• Equipped with 2 expansion relays. These can be used to connect to additional sensors such as smoke detectors, fire alarms, door open/close sensors, etc. (When these expansion relays are in use, SMS alerts will be sent to up to 5 phone numbers with customizable messages, e.g., “Cold storage door open,” “Cold storage door closed,” “Smoke detected,” “Fire detected,” etc.)

• On-site audible alarm (a built-in buzzer will sound locally within the device).

• Temperature displayed via 7-segment LED displays.

• Temperature data is transmitted to the server every 3 minutes.

II. Technical Specifications

• Temperature range: -35ᴼC to 70ᴼC

• Temperature sensor cable length: 2 meters (extendable)

• One on/off relay connected to an external siren (2 terminals)

• Two input signals (Alarm 01, Alarm 02) for extended alerts (2 terminals)

• Temperature displayed using four 7-segment LED digits (e.g., -12.5 or 50.7)

• 4G SIM module, SMS-enabled

• The device is equipped with 2 external antennas mounted on the enclosure (1 for Wi-Fi signal, 1 for mobile/SMS signal)

• Power supply via external adapter: 5 VDC - 2A

• Internal lithium battery: 3.7V 1000 mAh (provides 5–6 hours of operation during power outages)

• Includes one power connector and connectors for sensor input, relay output, and power cut-off.
