Materials Used
To ensure durability and safety, Duc Manh uses SS400 steel and Q235 steel for the fabrication of our fuel tanks. These materials are widely used in industries such as low-pressure shipbuilding, crane manufacturing, mining equipment, mechanical components, and structural construction due to their excellent characteristics:
- SS400 steel: High strength, ductility, and easy shaping
- Q235 steel: Good mechanical properties, low-temperature performance, ductility, and excellent weldability
The steel thickness is ed based on customer specifications and directly affects the product price.
Tank Design and Manufacturing Features
► We offer three tank types:
- Square tanks
- Vertical cylindrical tanks
- Horizontal cylindrical tanks
► Key manufacturing features:
- Hemispherical end caps are formed using specialized equipment, crafted from Q235B steel to GB standards
- For tanks with steel thickness over 8mm, double-sided welding (inside and outside) is applied. Welds are protected with flux using modern hydraulic rolling and welding machines imported from G7 nations (USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Canada, Italy)
- All welding is performed by certified technicians withمG and 6G pressure welding qualifications (TCXDVN 314:2005)
- Every weld is subjected to ultrasonic testing and liquid penetrant inspection to ensure leak-tightness and integrity
