The Central Air Conditioning Installation Process

Installing a central air conditioning system is a complex process that requires precision and expertise. Here’s a step-by-step overview of how we ensure a seamless installation:

 

1. Installing Copper Pipes for Central Air Conditioning

The copper pipes used in the system must be carefully ed to meet the requirements and standards of the equipment. These pipes need to be insulated separately for both the supply and return lines, wrapped with moisture-resistant nylon. The main and branch pipes are welded together using Refnet joints to prevent oxidation at the weld points.

2. Installing Drainage Pipes

After the copper pipes are installed, the next step is to set up the drainage system. PVC pipes of appropriate size are used for this purpose. The pipes must have a minimum slope of 1/100 and be fully insulated. The drainage system should be centralized along the technical cold shafts and include a vent at the top.

3. Installing Indoor and Outdoor Units

• Indoor Unit: The indoor unit is secured using support nuts. There should be a 10mm gap between the bottom of the unit and the false ceiling. The unit must be leveled horizontally to ensure proper condensation drainage.
• Outdoor Unit: The outdoor unit is placed on a concrete base with the required spacing as per regulations.

4. Electrical System Installation and Testing

The power supply for the air conditioning system must be connected to the building’s main electrical system. Each outdoor unit area should have its own electrical panel for easy maintenance and repairs. The panel should be made of soft steel with a minimum thickness of 1mm and installed securely to prevent electrical hazards.

Once the installation is complete, the system is tested. Power is supplied to the central control unit, and addresses are assigned to each controller for seamless operation.
