Material Grades: The material used to manufacture gears depends on their operating conditions, such as load capacity, force or stress, wear resistance, and duty cycle.

Commonly Used Materials:

• For general-purpose gears: Chrome alloy steels such as 15Cr, 15CrA, 40Cr, 45Cr, or chrome-nickel and chrome-molybdenum alloys like 40CrNi, 35CrMoA, 18CrMnTi.

• For medium- and small-load gears: High-quality carbon steels such as C40, C45, and cast iron.
