1. Product  description:

+ Color: navy blue

+ Size: 2mm base 5mm

2. Application:

+ Food preservation, medical preservation, anti-mold, anti-humidity for electronic equipment , etc.

+ Desiccant in general and Blue Silica gel desiccant in particular are practically used to preserve products. Blue silica gel desiccant with characteristics of blue color will help the user can easily identify the condition of the grain and can know the amount of water stored in the grain. Due to this color change, it is possible to recognize the current status of the desiccant package so that it can be added or manipulated for reuse.

3. Identify the state of hygroscopic particles by color:

+ On the other hand, based on the color of the desiccant, it will help the user to guess somewhat about the quality of the product. If the color of the desiccant turns dark green, it shows that the grain is filled with water vapor. In addition, the grain filled with water also indicates that the product has been used for a long time or the packaging is not really guaranteed to absorb water vapor by the desiccant inside it.

+ In case the desiccant has fully absorbed water vapor, the blue color becomes darker as the water vapor can stick to the paper part of the desiccant package, it is time to change another desiccant pack or find suitable measures to reuse them.

4. Reuse the desiccant:

To reuse the desiccant you can apply one of the following measures:

+ Expose the desiccant packet to the sun until the color of the desiccant is less dark and returns to an even blue color.

+ Put the desiccant pack into the microwave oven at normal mode for about 10 minutes, and the steam inside the desiccant will evaporate and return the desiccant to its original state.

+ Put the desiccant into dry on the stove, coal stove or gas stove so that the temperature evaporates all the water vapor in the desiccant.
