1. Applications of wood chips:

≫ Main materials for the production of plywood: Wood chips are created from wood waste after being crushed. Then it is mixed with some other materials combined with specialized adhesives, and pressed again under high temperature to create wooden planks.

≫ Raw materials for the production of wood pellets: Wood chips have low moisture content, low ash and high heat output, so wood pellets are used to replace traditional fuels.

≫ Burning materials: Using wood chips crushed from wood waste as fuel to replace natural wood sources is a perfect choice. In addition, wood chips are cheaper than natural wood sources but are easy to catch fire and generate high heat.

≫ Raw materials for pulp production: Pulp is ground from wood chips as the main raw material for paper production. Currently, the paper production capacity in Japan and China is very demanding, and this leads to the extremely high demand of these countries for pulp sources.

2. Process of producing wood chips:

➽ Exploiting or purchasing wood materials: mainly chopped wood is harvested from acacia wood and the collecting process ensures the following factors: age from 4 years or more, circumference greater than 30cm, and so on.

➽ Cleaning of wooden logs: Raw materials are determined by electronic scale. After that, the picker or tow truck put those ed ones into the tree barking machine to remove the epidermis of the tree according to the set standards of chopped wood. After peeling the bark, the raw wood follows the conveyor belt to the wood chipper.

➽ Screening for grading of chopped wood and storage yards:

+ Beautiful chips, the right size and those meeting the requirements will be transferred by the conveyor system to the chipyard

+ Large chips that are not of the required size will return to the wood chipper machine for processing again into standard sizes.  fitting into the standard sizes, they will be transferred to the storage yard.

+ Sawdust and wood waste that do not meet the requirements will be sent to the disposal site
