► The cluster of 3 deep-water ports transshipped internationally in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, including: Tan Cang - Cai Mep Container Terminal (TCCT - the first deep-water seaport of Vietnam), Tan Cang - Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) ) and Tan Cang - Cai Mep Thi Vai Port (TCTT), with 110 ha of warehouse, 1,500m of berth, capable of receiving 160,000 DWT (equivalent to 14,000 Teu).
► Currently, Tan Cang - Cai Mep Terminal Group has direct service from Vietnam to the East Coast and West Coast of the United States, to Europe and the Intra-Asia service to Japan operated by major shipping alliances such as The Alliance, The Ocean Alliance, 2M deployment. Over the past years, especially in 2018, deep-water ports of the TCSG system in Cai Mep area (TCTT, TCIT and TCCT) handled over 2.1 million Teus containers through the region, accounting for 70.8% of the total container volume of Cai Mep area.
