Name: PMC 90 Termiticide

Effectiveness:

Utilizes the natural behavior of worker termites to carry the chemical back to the colony, spreading infection and eliminating the entire colony (especially the reproductive queen).

Application Steps

1. Bait Placement:

   • Identify termite activity, place bait boxes in quiet areas.

   • If termite trails are inside walls, use hanging racks.

   • Number of bait boxes depends on infestation level and house size:

     • 5–6 boxes for a 5-room tiled house (60–70 m²).

     • 3–4 boxes for a 3–4 room house.

     • 2 boxes if termites appear at a single point.

   • Boxes made of cardboard, approx. 15 × 11 × 30 cm.

   • Bait can be pine or white resin wood soaked in 1% sugar solution, or sugarcane residue.

   • Note: If termites infest the entire structure, increase bait boxes by 1.5 times. If termites have invaded large wooden piles or bookshelves, baiting is unnecessary.

   • Baiting Duration: 10–15 days in humid season, 20–30 days in cold season.

2. Chemical Application:

   • Remove bait pieces, sprinkle PMC 90 powder evenly over termites, then return bait and termites to the original box placement.

   • After 4 days, once termites retreat to the colony, remove the boxes.

   • Do not apply during the onset of northeast monsoon or when temperature is below 20°C.

Safety Precautions

• Wear a mask when applying powder.

• Do not feed poisoned termites to poultry.

• Do not use treated bait as firewood.
