Day 01: CAO BANG - BAO LAC
ENROUTE TO CAO BANG:
To join the 3-day tour starting at 8 AM in Cao Bang, you will need to travel the day before.
Day Before Departure:
- Plan to arrive in Cao Bang the evening before the tour.
- Choose from several bus options from Hanoi.
- Upon arrival enjoy a free hostel bed arranged by us.

08:00: Check out of your homestay, enjoy breakfast, meet the guides and the group, have your welcome chat. Get ready to hit the road
- Coffee break in Vu Nong (Overlooking photo viewpoint of the valleys below)
- Sightseeing at Dinh Phung (walking-trail and group-photo viewpoint)
12:00: Lunch at Ban Nga
- Truc Lung Pan Bamboo Forest (the dense and picturesque bamboo forest is harvested by the nearby village and used in many ways)
15:30: Arrive and check-in at the homestay
- Take in breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains along the China border as the sun sets in a spectacular display.
19:00: Dinner and a bonfire with happy water. Share your stories and watch the lights from the villages on the other side of the border light up the mountainside.
Day 02: BAO LAC - ANGEL EYE MOUNTAIN - BAN GIOC
07:00: Tuck in to your traditional breakfast and get ready for your day of exploration
- Khau Coc Cha Pass (20min/1 km hike up the mountain,to the viewpoint overlooking the 14 switchback roads up the mountain, then hike back down to the bikes)
- Na Tenh Pass (viewpoint from one end of the Valley to the other with a beautiful winding road below)
12:00: Lunch at Ha Quang
- Angel Eye Mountain (explore the valley and marvel at the ultra unique mountain with a hole through the center)
- Phong Nam Valley (enjoy the streams and flatlands of the stunning valley)
17:30: Check in at the homestay near Ban Gioc
19:00: Have your local dinner and get ready for the falls tomorrow!
Day 03: BAN GIOC WATERFALL - VINH QUY - CAO BANG CITY
08:00: Fuel up for the final day of your adventure with breakfast at the homestay.
- Nguom Ngao Cave (trek ~30 minutes through the impressive cave)
- Ban Gioc Waterfall (take a boat trip up to the foot of the waterfall for a one-of-a-kind photo and view, afterwards explore the area on foot)(the narrow river divides China and Vietnam)
12:00: Lunch at Vinh Quy atop the mountains
- Vinh Quy Grass Hills (rolling grass hills & mountains stretch as far as the eye can see, in every direction)
- Doc Lap Waterfall/Na Tau Waterfall (take a swim in the waterfalls plunge pool)
14:30: Arrive at Cao Bang City and say goodbye to your group and guides.
16:00: Our organised transportation to Hanoi will arrive.
