2. key features
✍ Produced with modern technology each Fimantec granule is coated with a protective anti-oxidation layer.
✍ Before use, Fimantec granules must be activated using 10% sodium hypochlorite (Javen) solution.
✍ Activation ratio: 1:10 by volume (e.g., 100 liters of Fimantec requires 10 liters of Javen).
✍ To activate: Pour Fimantec into a tank, fill with clean water until the granules are submerged, add Javen, and soak for 4 hours. Then remove, rinse thoroughly, and use.
✍ In a standard household filtration column: Add a 15 cm gravel support layer, followed by a 30 cm quartz sand layer, and Fimantec granules on top (30-90 cm thick, depending on manganese concentration).
✍ For large industrial filtration systems, continuous Javen dosing is recommended during operation.
3. Instructions for use
✜ Use similarly to standard filter sand - simply activate the granules, then load them into a tank, filter column, or basin.
✜ Place gravel and sand layers underneath to stabilize the media and improve water flow.
✜ It is recommended to test your water quality to determine the correct filtration configuration.
Typically, to treat water containing 1 mg/l of manganese, a 60 cm media layer is sufficient.
