► FERAMIC is a specially engineered filtration material optimized for air oxidation processes, particularly effective in treating groundwater with high iron content, such as well water.
► Suitable for both industrial and domestic water treatment applications, including drinking water systems with large water volumes.
► No chemical activation or regeneration required, reducing maintenance time and cost.
► Can be used independently or combined with other filter media such as quartz sand or activated carbon to enhance filtration performance.
3. Instructions for use
✤ Use similarly to other filtration materials such as quartz sand, activated carbon, ODM, AC, or Birm (USA).
✤ Suitable for use in gravity filtration tanks or pressurized filter columns.
✤ Recommended filter bed thickness: 30 cm to 110 cm, depending on water source and system capacity.
✤ Filter media arrangement: Follow standard setup for multi-layer filtration columns.
✤ Required dissolved oxygen concentration before filtration: >15%.
✤ No activation or regeneration needed. Periodic backwashing and rinsing are sufficient for regular operation.
✤ Can be used alone or in combination with quartz sand.
