1. Product Introduction – Hotmelt Adhesive:

- Hotmelt adhesive, also known as thermal adhesive, is a bonding agent derived from thermoplastic resin. Although pure thermoplastics typically lack substantial adhesive strength, the incorporation of various additives—such as waxes, stabilizers, tackifiers, and antioxidants—has resulted in the development of specialized adhesives with enhanced bonding properties tailored to specific applications.

- Physical Appearance: Granular form available in light yellow or white, depending on end-use requirements.

- Solid Content: 100% EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate)

- Operating Temperature: Approx. 150 – 180ºC (requires heat applicators or thermal dispensing equipment).

- Packaging Specification: Granular hotmelt adhesive is supplied in 25 kg bags.

2. Applications of Hotmelt Adhesive:

- In the food packaging industry: Used for affixing straws to cartons, sealing paperboard packaging.

- In paper packaging manufacturing: Applied to high-strength packaging such as reinforced cartons and boxes, lamination of OPP to OPP, paper to paper, OPP to paper, and book cover binding.

- In the woodworking sector: Employed for affixing and positioning drawer slides, and for bonding edge bands on tables and cabinetry.

- Hotmelt adhesives are distributed in solid form and available in multiple configurations including cylindrical sticks, granules, powders, pellets, and blocks.

- Hotmelt adhesives are extensively utilized in a variety of industrial and manufacturing domains, including:

• Printing and packaging,

• Automotive assembly and interior finishing,

• Footwear and garment production,

• Hygiene products such as diapers.
