Product Introduction – Epoxy Adhesive 1/4:
- Epoxy Adhesive 1/4, also known as "Peacock Glue" or E44, is a type of synthetic chemical compound used extensively in the processing industries, particularly in woodworking, stone fabrication, concrete, and metal industries.
- Characteristics:
Component A is the adhesive base, existing in liquid form, colorless, with a mild odor.
Component B is the curing agent in liquid form, characterized by a sharp, slightly unpleasant odor and a reddish-yellow hue.
After mixing Components A and B, a pale yellow compound is obtained.
Excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates such as wood, stone, metal, and concrete.
Superior mechanical strength, thermal resistance, waterproofing, and solvent resistance.
User-friendly: does not require advanced technical skills—users only need to follow the suppliers instructions.
Stable and non-perishable when unmixed, enabling long-term storage without degradation of quality.
Instructions for Use – Epoxy Adhesive 1/4:
- Always wear protective gloves and masks during application.
- Thoroughly clean the surface of the bonding substrate.
- Ensure the bonding surface is dry (for wood, the acceptable moisture content is between 8–15%).
- Mix Component A and Curing Agent B in a ratio of 4:1.
- Stir thoroughly until the mixture is uniform in color.
- The maximum working time after mixing is 10 minutes.
(Note: The larger the mixed volume, the faster the hardening process, thereby reducing working time. Hence, users are advised to mix only the amount needed per application to avoid wastage.)
- Apply adhesive evenly over the entire bonding surface.
- Curing time after bonding: 2–3 hours.
- Minimum time before post-processing: 4 hours. (Users may adjust the amount of Component B to alter curing time, but this is not recommended.)
- Notify the supplier immediately if any quality-related issues arise.
