Paper tape consists of a crepe paper layer coated with either natural rubber adhesive or acrylic adhesive. The silicon-coated paper tape is reinforced with a silicon layer on the paper surface to enhance durability during use.

When removed, paper tape does not leave any adhesive residue on the surface, which is an important indicator of the products low adhesive retention. The tape can typically stay adhered to the surface for 7-14 days without leaving any marks or glue residue once removed.
