WAX BARCODE RIBBON
* General Characteristics:
- Wax is a type of ribbon composed primarily of wax in comparison to resin (plastic), thus resulting in a Wax Ribbon. This product has the lowest cost among all ribbon types. Owing to its high wax content, only a low heat temperature—approximately 65°C—is required to activate melting, ensuring clear print quality while significantly reducing printhead wear.
- Performs excellently on paper-coated label types, including papers such as 0331 and 0339 from Avery Dennison (Fasson), UPM, Lintec, etc. In general, it is suitable for common paper decal types that can be torn by hand.
* In which environments is Wax Barcode Ribbon used?
- Wax Ribbon is typically used for printing shipping labels, price tags, or other applications in indoor environments with short-term storage requirements.
- Additionally, Wax Ribbon is widely applied in supermarkets, bookstores, libraries, etc. under the well-known concept of “low cost, meets mid-range quality demands, and delivers high economic efficiency.
