Gia Lam Garment Mechanical Joint Stock Company is a state-owned enterprise under Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group - Ministry of Industry. The company was established on September 22, 1977 from a sewing equipment repair shop supported by the GDR with the first name of sewing machine repair factory. The mission of the Company was originally just repairing and manufacturing some sewing machine spare parts for sewing industry.
- From January 1, 1979, it was renamed Gia Lam Mechanical Garment Enterprise and from April 1994 to March 31, 2004, the name was changed to Gia Lam Garment Mechanical Company. May Gia Lam Mechanical Engineering.
