Bac Thai Metal Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Bac Thai Metal Company, was established in 1962. In 2004, the company transformed from a 100% state-owned enterprise into a joint stock company with state-controlled shares, under the management of Vietnam Steel Corporation. In 2015, following the directives of the Party and Government, all state-owned capital was successfully transferred to strategic shareholders.
