Our main product groups include:
1. Standard AC Motors
Our standard AC motors operate simply by connecting a capacitor and supplying power from a commercial power supply. The standard AC motor lineup includes basic induction motors, reversible motors, and more specific types such as electromagnetic brake motors, synchronous motors, torque motors and watertight, dust-resistant motors.
2. Speed Control Motors
Speed control motors are motors that can have their speed changed. These brushless motors provide both excellent speed stability and a wide speed control range. AC speed control motors can control the speed of the AC motors using simple functions. An inverter can easily control the speed of the three-phase induction motor. There are three product groups.
3. Stepping Motors
Stepping motors can be used to achieve highly accurate positioning operation via digital control. The motor operates by accurately synchronizing with the pulse signal output from the controller to the driver. Stepping motors feature high torque and low vibration at low-speeds, which is ideal for applications requiring quick positioning in short distance.
4. AC Servo Motors
AC servo motors are suited for high response and high accurate positioning. Motors are used in various types of equipment for accurate rotation angle and rotation speed control.
5. Controllers
Stepping motors require a controller (pulse generator) that issues operation commands. We offer controllers that allow you to fully utilize the characteristics of stepping motors.
6. Motorized Actuators
Motorized actuators combine a motor and a linear motion mechanism. Drawing on our strength as a motor manufacturer, Oriental Motor offers a wide variety of motorized actuators featuring different shapes, motor types, drive systems and power-supply inputs. Our motorized actuators, including the mechanical parts and driver, are fully guaranteed.
7. Cooling Fans
Oriental Motor offers three product groups: axial flow fans for ventilation and cooling, centrifugal blowers and cross flow fans for spot cooling, and cooling modules designed for enclosure cooling. Fans within these groups are available with additional functions such as a low-speed alarm, a stall alarm and a long-life fan.
