Center of Supporting and Enterprise Development

Center of Supporting and Enterprise Development (under the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City) was established under Decision No. 5870/QD-UBND dated November 8, 2016 of the City People’s Committee (formerly Center for Plastics - Rubber Technical and Energy Management Training. Accordingly, the Center performs the following key functions and tasks:
1. Support start-ups and enterprise development in the city under the approval of competent authorities and implement them.
2. Organize conferences and meetings between city leaders and enterprises.
3. Cooperate and carry out services and consultancy activities to support business and start-up development.
4. Guide enterprises to access central and municipal support mechanisms and policies in areas such as stimulus programs, investment, trade promotion, and human resource training.
5. Connect enterprises through investment promotion and international cooperation activities.
6. Cooperate to organize training and human resource development for enterprises, including surveying and assessing human resource needs.
7. Conduct surveys and develop information databases across various sectors.
8. Collaborate on research, application of advanced and effective science and technology for industrial development.
9. Conduct specialized activities in quality analysis, inspection, and certification of compliance for plastic and rubber products.
