The MU gear reducer is a power transmission system operating on the meshing principle, transmitting motion and power between two crossed shafts. The gear made of bronze is called the worm wheel, while the threaded shaft meshing with it is called the worm shaft.
Depending on the application requirements, the MU gear reducer can be designed with either a hollow output shaft or a solid output shaft.
The MU series is available in 6 sizes: 40, 50, 63, 75, 90, and 110 (small sizes: 40, 50, 63 large sizes: 75, 90, 110).
Gear ratios range from 5 to 100 for small sizes and from 7.5 to 100 for large sizes.
