Company Introduction
Established in December, 1986, by Mr. Pham Kim Ma, a lacquer painter, KIMA Lacquer Art has been developing and specializes in producing lacquer products. We have exported many unconventional and work pieces with highly artistic value, including various bowls, trays, plates, boxes, to Tokyo and Kyoto markets.
To protect the health of users and workers, KIMA is extremely strict in choosing the natural materials and using no chemical substances in making products. Instead, we apply special technology for production line.
KIMA has won a lot of international awards, namely:
- In 2003, UNESCO - AHPADA SEAL OF EXCELLENCE
- In 2004, THE GOOD DESIGN AWARD ASEAN SELECTION 2004 G-MARK
- In 2005, UNESCO - AHPADA SEAL OF EXCELLENCE for tureen and plate
- In 2006, UNESCO - AHPADA SEAL OF EXCELLENCE for Fruit and Wine lacquer bowl
