The NF-308 tests RJ-45 (network), RJ-11 (telephone), BNC, and USB cables. It features an LCD screen display, measures the length of the cable in meters or feet, identifies the location of breaks, and includes many other functions.

- Special feature: Includes an additional Receiver (probe) with a speaker that emits a signal when placed directly over the cable break position, allowing for 99% accurate location of the break.
